1. Material and Copyright

Material that you see on BayPress.org may be protected by copyright, trade mark, patent or other protections, even if it is not stated to be. Do not download data unless you have the right or appropriate consent to do so.

While every endeavor has been made to supply accurate information, errors and omissions may occur. Accordingly, the producers of BayPress.org, the Bay Area Citizens Editorial Board Members, Clinton Reilly Holdings, Clint Reilly, his family, agents, employees, and associates do not accept any liability for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, contained on or accessed through BayPress.org

2. No Spam Policy

Sending unsolicited email advertisements to BayPress.org web forms or email addresses may be a violation of certain federal and state laws, including without limitation the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. ยง 1030 et seq.), Section 502 of the California Penal Code and Section 17538.45 of the California Business and Professions Code. Such violations may subject the sender and his or her agents to civil and criminal penalties.

3. Privacy

If you are surfing and reading information on our website then we collect and store the following information about your visit:

  • the IP address of your machine when connected to the Internet and the domain name from which you are accessing the Internet;
  • the operating system and the browser your computer uses, and any search engine you are using;
  • the date and time you are visiting;
  • the URLs of the pages you visit, and the URLs of referring websites;
  • if you provide it, your email address, and other contact information.

We use that information to measure the number of visitors to different parts of the site and, for example, to measure the effectiveness of our content.

We do not sell information which identifies you personally.

BayPress.org does not use “cookies” or similar tracking devices.

    Nothing like paying more and getting less:

    Starting at 7pm tonight, the Bay Area Rapid Transit District will cut its service by 25% during non-peak periods (ie, most of the time). This compares unfavorably to AC Transit’s 15% service cut, and was not accompanied by a public input process like the one AC Transit has undertaken in recent weeks. (Full story)
